$0.00Price

Cry of the Taniwha is a novel written by New Zealand author Des Hunt. Like of all of Des' novels the reader is taken on the journey of solving a mystery and like all good mysteries things are never as straight forward as they seem.

This novel is set amongst the volcanic landscape of Rotorua. A skeleton is found and it is up to Matt and his new friends to find out who it is and how it came to be buried. As well as a great action adventure, that will keep your students hooked, this novel is full of science and real life learning.

The novel study includes a range of reading comprehension skills, tier 1 and 2 vocabulary and meaningful follow-up activities that encourage the reader to do more than just read the novel. It is aimed at students in year 7-9 and will take 3-5 weeks to complete.
