Phantom of Terawhiti

The Phantom of Terawhiti is a novel written by New Zealand author Des Hunt. Like of all of Des' novels the reader is taken on the journey of solving a mystery where things are never as straight forward as they seem.
 
This novel is set in along the Southwest coastline of Wellington. Zac thinks his school holidays are going to be boring but when a boat, owned by a millionaire, sinks off the coast during a storm things become interesting fast. When Zac finds unusual paw prints on the beach he is intrigued about what could be out there and wonders if it is connected to the recent shrinking. Unfortunately Zac is not the only one interested and so begins the hunt for the Phantom of Terawhiti. Who will find it f
